RETIRED: Today my Maternity leave ended with Far West Bank- and I am officially a stay at home Mom. Even though it is one of the best days of my life and I am so excited to be able to be with Evan all day everyday I have mixed emotions about leaving the bank. I loved my job and I loved the people I worked with. I really enjoyed interacting with people and just getting out everyday and using my brain! I worked there for almost 3 years and it was a perfect job- I am sad to be done. But this is going to be such a wonderful time of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Being a Mom is the best thing in the entire world. I never knew how much work it would be and I never knew you could love something so much! Luke and I talk almost everynight about how much we love our Baby Evan....everyday more and more!

What a cutie he has truly become! He no longer looks like a newborn but like a baby boy! We will for sure have to get the kiddies together this Summer! And congrats on getting to stay home, I am oh so jealous!

I completely understand the mixed emotions about leaving your job. I love being a stay at home mom and never wanted it any other way, but when I quit working there was a huge part of me that was sad. I worked for that employer for 8 years, really loved my boss, and had great friends. I didn't expect to miss it as much as I did. That being said, I have found ways to use my head, to keep busy (besides being a mom) and am glad we decided I should stay home. If you ever get bored, give me a call, we'll schedule a playdate.
