Our Christmas Surprise!

So here is how it went: On November 28th after feeling like crap every night and morning I decided to finally take a pregnancy test.  So after Livi's 9 Month appointment we stopped by the dollar store and picked up a few tests just for piece of mind. (I had taken one a few weeks earlier because my friend Tiff thought she was so smart and that I was pregnant! Well it was negative of course- I wasn't pregnant) Well we got home and I did the test and in about 2 seconds I set the test down and walked away only to come back a few moments later to 2 pink lines!!! I think I stopped breathing for a moment, I wanted to cry, I was so happy, I was so scared, and I thought to myself....HOLY SHIT! haha what the crap?! How did this happen?  Well I decided right then and there that this was going to be a Christmas surprsie for our family.  Well I went to the Dr. and sure enough Baby Stewart #3 is on its way!  After 2 weeks I finally felt like I could breathe again.  I spent my mornings sicker than a dog, throwing up, laying down, and pretty much wanted to sleep 23 of the 24 hours!  Cute Evan and I would talk about the baby in my tummy and he always calls him Baby Mason- he was right with Livi so we will see if he is 2 for 2.  Christmas couldn't have come any slower for me.  But luckily for me I love a good surprise so I was able to keep it a secret for a whole month!  Luke never caught on to my chub, zits, sweats every single day, no dinners because I wanted to puke at just about everything, etc.   So when Christmas was all over I told Luke there was one more gift for Evan and Livi.  His face and reaction was priceless!  It was the best Christmas surprise for all of us.  So wish us luck- Livi and Baby #3 will be 17 months apart and we are so anxious, nervous, excited, blessed, etc!!!!  Everyone in our families were SHOCKED...as were we!  I guess this baby was anxious to come to our little family. (Oh wait a family of 5 isn't so little anymore?!)

Congrats Ali! My two boys are 15 months apart, so I know how the craziness with having kids so close goes. I will say it is totally crazy at first, but things do get easier!! You can do it mama!
