On Saturday Luke and I went to pick up our new puppy. (Well really it is Luke's new hunting partner) Her name is Mackey and she is a pudel pointer. I wish someone could have been a fly on the wall the night before we went to pick her up, Luke was just like a little kid waiting for Santa. He could hardly sleep! I am not the biggest animal lover in the least bit, but she is such a cute little puppy. She has only had a couple accidents in the house but for the most part she makes it outside. Mackey has been sleeping in our room so that when Luke gets up in the middle of the night she is just right there- it also helps so she doesn't cry all night. For me I have felt as though we have a new little infant in our home except for Luke feeds her, takes her potty, etc. If only it could be like this when we have a real baby!
