August in Review:

August already?  I have to say that August is my least favorite month of the year...and the hottest!  But Evan has literally lived outside all summer so I am letting him soak it up before it gets COLD again.
This year August was started with Girls camp. I was only able to go up for two days but I loved every minute of it!  I have been the first counselor for over 3 years now and have loved my calling.
Here are some of our leaders
Sadie, Cass, Serena, and Sammi- These girls are little sweeties I tell ya!
My mother in law Anita is in the Stake YW's so one day when I drove up I may or may not have gotten us a Diet Coke with Lime and some Red Vines.  What would girls camp be with out a DC?
One day we met up with Nanny and Hailey and her girlies at Chuck E Cheese.  Evan loved loved loved it! He mainly rode the little train car and this little bike!
Livi is growing up too fast!  She is such a little doll.  It is so fun to have a little pink- and Evan always makes sure she has a blankie and a bow before we leave.  He takes such good care of her.  Hailey is covering her little baby bump but Baby Grady is due in October and we can't wait to meet him!
Evan and Tayc are such cute little friends. He loves to talk to Tayc on the phone and when she is around he just loves to be wherever she is.
Chuck E Cheese...where a kid can be a kid! Evan seriously loved every token we spent that day.  It was so fun to see him loving all the rides.  He can kinda be a little cautious- and by that I mean a little wimpy! So I was so proud of him.
Kate came into town again in August so we all hit up the Provo pool.
Cora is pretty dang cute and chubby- what a doll!
Cute Cass and Ellie
(Everyone keeps telling me that Livi looks like a lighter version of Ellie...do you see it?)
Evan and Kael are the best little buds....they are kinda like brothers.  They love eachother but they fight a lot!
Livi's first time in her swimsuit and to the pool.  I never dared taking her in Midway because I felt like I needed to give Evan my full attention. Livi wasn't so sure about the water but she was pretty dang cute in her little swim get up!
Check out those Big Blue eyes- oh man I love this little girly!
Hayden has a little thing for Saige and it is pretty dang cute!
My baby is getting so big and it is kinda making me sad.  I wish I could freeze Evan and Livi right now.  I absolutely love the 6 month stage and Evan is in a pretty cute stage as well.
Well as much as I hate to say it...summer has come to an end!  We have had a fun summer and will try and soak up what warm days we have left. Hopefully you all had a great summer too!
Hello to Fall- the best season of all!!!!

July in Review:

What is it about summer that is so fun? I think its the warm weather, the BBQ's, swimming, ice cream, parades, fireworks, and the list goes on.  This year was no exception!
We spent some time up in Midway and it was so fun to have Josh's family and Michelle and her kiddos aboard too.
Evan loves his cousins. It was so fun to see him be a fish this year in the water. He didn't really want me to catch him in the deep, "No me can do it".

Chels and Porter catching some rays at the pool
I never want to forget this EVER! Evan went through a stage all summer of covering his ears.  When he would get mad- he would do it. When he didn't want to talk- he would do it. When something was loud- he would do it. You get my drift?! He was constantly do this. So of course throughout the fireworks he did it! Although he loved them at the same time.
Livi missed her first firework show- she was all snuggled up on her Daddy.
Don't mind the awkward pose. Livi is still in that hard stage to take pictures.  She kept tipping over and by the end Evan had had it with pictures so this is the best one I got of their 4th of July outfits!

Livi absolutely loves her brother and the same goes for him too.  The second thing Evan asks for in the morning is "Where is Livi". (First he asks where Daddy is).  He is just randomly giving her little smooches!  It is pretty dang cute.  She loves to just watch her brother.
This year we had the annual Hansen Family Reunion here at the Farm.  Before the actual party started I invited some neighbors and family over to get our full use out of the bounce house!
Evan loves him some Hallie Jane
Water slide and all....
We went to the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo with all the Stewarts!  Evan was in Hog heaven.  He even got some new Cowboy Boots and a Hat- and Livi was pretty cute too!
Our little family....Don't mind me busting out!  These dang nursing you know whats.  Anyways, could it ever be possible to get Luke to smile? or the kids to look at the camera? Um...probably not!
Livi at her first Rodeo.  Cass just loves her to pieces.  She would probably keep her if I would let her!
Kate and her family were able to come this year.  Here is Evan and Hayden- Cowboys at their finest!
Yee Haw!!! I hate to see July end.  I love the fireworks, the parades, the carni rats in town, and the crickets at night. Did I mention that we love our two kiddos to pieces?!

June in Review:

Evan was so fun this summer- he is getting bigger and braver by the day!  Spanish Fork is up and coming you all...we now have a Cafe Rio and a Splash Pad. Evan loved just being outside constantly. Although he was super hesitant at first with the Splashes.
Trina and Syd met up with us one day- these two were hilarious.
Luke thought I was up in the night when I told him I wanted to buy a claw foot bath tub and paint it for a flower pot! Well the trick was telling him we could grab some Hires Big H and it was a go! I have absolutely loved this thing.
Evan is seriously just the best big brother.  A friend of mine gave us this dress for Livi when she was born and when we got her all ready for church Evan said, "Mom sissy so tute (cute)"! He melts my heart I tell ya.  Little Livi is just a little peanut.  She is a little sweetheart and is a total Mama's girl.
We had two pretty exciting things happen in June:
First our Evan J is all potty trained!!! Yahoo.  We are so proud of him.  He was 2 years and 4 months...now lets hope Livi follows in his footsteps!
Secondly- we upgraded to a Family car.  I have secretly dreamed of having an Acadia one day. I would watch KSL daily...well I planted a little seed in Luke's head.  I did all the diry work.  I got the Honda all ready to sale. And then this beauty was listed on KSL as well.  We have loved it!

We are loving Summer!
