hApPy FaThEr'S dAy

This year for Father's Day I made these cute little cupcakes!  They are Father's Day brownie BBQ/ Grille ones.  My friend Anja gave me the idea and then gave me half the supplies as well!!! So this is how they turned out:
Hot Dogs, Chicken Kabobs with peppers, and Pork Chops
(notice the lines are supposed to look like the grille)
Chicken Kabobs: cut up candy fruit slices & a caramel all together on a toothpick
Hot Dogs- Hot tamales with chocolate syrup
Pork Chop: carmel creme candy shaped like a pork chop
Happy Father's Day to all you Daddy's out there!

Birthdays

June is full of birthdays for the Stewart family.  First Anita's on the 9th, Mine the 14th,  Ali Jones on the 18th, & Baby Kael will turn one on the 29th.
We have been celebrating like crazy!
We had a little Cafe Rio picnic on Anita's birthday.  The kids all thought they had died and gone to heaven.
Evan and Grandma with her birthday present~
Cute Ellie and the birthday girl!
It was definitely a day of fun and smiles!!!

Hallie Jane
Evan and I
Elsie Kate
On Sunday we had a little Steak birthday dinner for all of us.
This is the Donut cake I made for the birthdays!
All of us making a wish!!!
This picture is hilarious!  It captures the moment perfectly.  Jed's little girls are scared to DEATH of dogs...All of us were cracking up and these girls were scared out of their minds.  It was hilarious and sad at the same time.  Check out those faces...including Jeds!  This moment was classic!
And finally you all guessed it!  On my actual birthday we took all the Young Women to see GTU!!!  Followed by a lovely hamburger, shake, and fries lunch at In-N-Out burger.  Thanks girlies for such a fun day!

Youth Conference 2010

This year for Youth Conference we were able to do a service project for a family in our ward and then go up to the Lovely Heber Valley camp for an overnighter!  It was so fun to serve and hang out with one another.  I truly love my calling and think its exactly where I am supposed to be~ Here are some of my pictures from the weekend:
The Gals at the Service Project
Sadie and Shawnee
The boys taking the old one off and preparing for the new roof!
We did the limbo....
Bonded with the leaders.....
Pretty much were silly the entire time- big surprise eh?!
The Gang
And finally getting some shade!
We had a great time and I kinda think that I loved it more than the kids did.  I love to hear the kids chat about, who is cute in the ward...what funny things are going on...etc. I pretty much had my giggle on the entire time!  A good time was had by all.  Please believe I was doing cartwheels, laughing so hard I almost peed my pants, and completely lost my voice- If the bishop found out about all this I may lose my calling!

Memorial Day Weekend-West Yellowstone 2010

This year for Memorial day we headed up to Yellowstone with all the Stewarts.  We left Friday morning and headed to Aunt Sal's in Idaho Falls for the night.  Then it was off to Island park for lunch and then onto West Yellowstone. Evan was quite the trooper in the car.  As you can tell- I may have overpacked!
We went through Rexburg and took a little visit to the BYU Idaho campus and past the beautiful temple.  Luke would seriously move to Rexburg tomorrow!
While we were in West Yellowstone we went to the Playmill- Beauty and the Beast.  Luke kept teasing me that I wished I was Belle...deep down I really do!  Anyways, Luke's darling cousin Shelby is in it and she did amazing.  It is such a cute little theatre too.  I want to go see the other plays they are showing!
Our little family
Jed and his girlies
Shirl, Anita, Gordy, Ali, & their kiddos at the play
Grandma let Hallie and Evan go to town on their pizza- they were in heaven and became cute little buddies on this trip!
Cute Baby Kael- he is such a doll!
Ellie, Cassie, and Saige hanging out in the hotel room- aren't they beautiful girlies?!
Daddy and Evan
Sunday we drove through the park- and please believe it was freezing cold and snowing!  Gotta love that weather for Memorial weekend.  I already decided next year we are heading South!
Luke and Evan with his baby buffalo stuffed animal...he kept giving it kisses and loves.
What would a trip to Yellowstone be with Old Faithful?!  Evan just totally enjoyed his little weekend get-a-way!
And what would a trip to Yellowstone be without seeing the Wildlife?!  We saw Elk, Buffalo, and even a Black bear!!! Just kidding about the bear- but I was determined to find one~! No luck
Luke took Evan swimming at the pool- it even had a slide!  Evan wasn't so sure about that business.  It was so nice to get away for a weekend and just spend some fun time with our cousins!  Thanks again Shirl and Anita
