Take me out to the Ball game

This past week has been a fun filled one for the Stewarts!  Evan went with his Daddy to his first ever baseball game.  Of course I had him wearing his baseball shirt...Luke was totally embarrassed.  It was hilarious. I didn't even dare to ask Luke to take the camera to the game- that would have been going one step too far!  Evan is seriously obsessed with going outside.  When he hears the door open he is running to go out.  Then he squats down and wants you to lift him down.  He really enjoys shoveling the driveway...with or without snow.  He is still really unsure about grass- is that normal?!
Take me out to the ball game!

This week I also planted my garden- although it may all be ruined from the snowstorm.  But I am hoping for the best.  This year we planted: Tomatoes, cucumber, green beans, zucchini, corn, asparagus, & pumpkins!  Now we will just have to wait and see how it goes~
On Sunday I was bored out of my mind.  Not going to lie I have been wanting to go feed some ducks for some time now...so I bought some cheap bread the other day and it made for a perfect Sunday afternoon outing.  Evan wasn't so sure about it but after a while he got the hang of it.
Now for the funny part...by getting the hang of it I meant that he just figured that he would just eat the bread while Luke and I fed the ducks.  It was hilarious!
We are just having so much fun with little Evan.  He seriously makes us laugh everyday.  Evan just loves to be with his Mama and Daddy no matter what is going on.  His new thing he loves is just chilling on our bed- we just love him even more each and every day!

Month of May

May 11th was Luke's 29th b-day.  Of course he did not want anything on his birthday or a cake or nothing- but you know me and birthdays.  We just had a fun little BBQ with Luke's friends and their wives.  I didn't even get one picture of the Birthday boy! He had a fun birthday this year to say the least...he got a new shot gun!!! Now this will be his birthday, Father's Day, and Christmas for the next 5 years~!
Happy Birthday Lukie
I am obsessed with these tissue paper poms....

And finally, my grandma Huish has not been doing so well these days.  So on Sunday my Mom and my sisters all headed up to Twin Falls for a little visit.  We (as in me and Chels), ate Jerky, licorice, Twix bars, 3 Musketeers, and the list goes on all the way up and on the way home.  We had a lovely visit with G-ma and then it was time to head back.  We took a little tour of T-falls, mama shared her memories, did some drive by's of old houses and where her friends lived.  Then we stopped by good ole' 1531 Julie Lane.  I was all of a sudden filled with memories from my childhood.  You know how smells remind you of things? Their house has a very distinct smell & I actually love it.  It will always remind me of them.  It was so good to see my G-ma even though she is a totally different person- she still made me laugh.  Its hard to see her get old...it really is sad. I will forever be grateful for all the cards, calls, and just for her being a great grandma.  It was well worth the quick trip.  We laughed, chatted, sang at the top of our lungs, and teased my Mom!!!
We love you Grandma~

Stop to smell the Roses...or Tulips

These past few weeks I must say have been super busy, crazy, overwhelming, etc.  It wasn't until this morning when Evan was napping that I realized that I need to just relax and stop and smell the roses as they say! So I just wanted to say that I am so grateful for my little Buddy, we do everything together.  We wake up together, eat breakfast, hang out all day, and say our prayers before bed. I can't imagine my life without my two boys in my life!  So this week I am going to try and stop and smell the roses- so you should too!!!
Evan
Isn't he smoochy?!
Here's to a good week!
