July 24th Week~

I must say that July holidays are some of my very favorite! This year we went to the Rodeo with all of Luke's family- it was quite the rodeo! Let's just say that baby Evan had a long day which meant that one of us was walking around with him throughout the entire thing. He was so dang tired but we were determined to stay.
Just some of the Stewart clan
Evan's first RODEO!

We also spent some time up in Midway which is always a treat.

Can Evan seriously already sit in one of these? You bet he can!
Cute Dev and Baby Evan

Evan finally decided that he loved the water!
Just chillin at the Heber Farmer's market again!
Mommy finally got Evan to not scream in the water....it went like this: first the toes got a little wet, then the legs, then just the toes....until eventually he was totally in and loving it! I guess baby steps is all it takes!

Grammy gave Evan a little spatula to suck on and he was going to town on it!
Isn't he the cutest? (I am his mom so I am allowed to say that!)
Since we live in Spanish Fork and it is Fiesta Days around here we decided to participate in some of the festivities- and no we did not attend the carnival~! Anyhow they had an Osmond 2nd generation come to the park so all the Stewart's headed over. It was so nice to just relax on blankets and just enjoy a fun summer night!

Evan and Aunt Ali

Needless to say we are thoroughly enjoying our summer!

Good Times-

Today is the anniversary day of when my dad passed away. For some reason I just dread this day each year- so last night I was so bored and Grammy and Bompa were going to the Heber Farmer's market....so Evan and I tagged along and then ended up having a sleepover.
Evan just loved laying on the grass and eating his spoon, piggies, mommies cell phone, and pretty much whatever he could find to put in his mouth!
Loving his carrots!
Messy face!
Then today Hailey and Chels came up with the girlies. We had lunch and then just relaxed by the pool. It was the perfect way to spend the day! (Notice Evan crying...yeah not a big fan of cold water I guess!)

Evan is just a fun little guy these days- wouldn't change a thing in my life!
We love you dad and miss you all the time- he would have loved all the grandkids...in fact I can't even think about that part of not having him here. It makes me too sad!

Girls Camp

Last week I was able to go to Girl's Camp for a day. It was so fun and it reminded me of how much I loved Girls Camp growing up!
Some of the gals
I wore Evan out!

I talked Tiff into coming up with me and we got some dirty looks for having our babies up there but no worry folks- I had permission from the stake!

5 Months

5 Months already? I can't evan imagine our lives any differently! Evan is growing so dang fast and learning so many new things:
He can sit up on his own
Reaches for everything
Puts everything in his mouth
Rolls like crazy
Sleeps in his own crib
Eats rice cereal- and loves it
Belly laughs and smiles all the time
He is a Mama's boy for sure!
We sure love this little fella!!!

July 4th

This 4th of July was just a relaxing day for us. We skipped out on the parades and such and just hung out up in Midway. Last night we went to dinner at the Brick Oven and then off to Stadium of Fire...for about 30 minutes. Lesson learned...4 month olds do not enjoy LOUD music! It was fun while it lasted!!!
