Nursery Phase 3

The nursery is all coming together. It is offical we decided that the baby is going to have the nicest room in the house! Luke was saying that it is not fair that the baby gets new carpet, paint, and his own bed. No worries folks- the walls are a little bare but give me some time and the final product will be complete
The dresser

This is just a glimpse of the bumper and mobile. We picked up our crib and dresser on Thursday and then on Friday my package arrived with my crib set and mobile. I absolutely love it!

I love love love the crib!

Luke was cracking me up while we were putting the crib together. He kept asking me for different tools and I didn't know what they were. He would ask for a Washer or something else and he would just look at me knowing I didn't know what I was supposed to hand him. He finally said that I wasn't much help! Now that the crib is all set up it is time to decorate the walls, find a rocking chair or glider, etc. It finally is starting to feel real that we really are having a baby. I think that we both secretly love that the crib is already set up because we both are so stinking excited for Baby Stewart to come!

Chuck-E-Cheese

The Kiddos!
Porter was so serious about these rides!

Just ridin' the rides!

Dev and Hailey

Dev kept sneaking Hailey's Diet Coke- it was hilarious!

Taycie is such a happy baby!

Once again- Po being so serious!
I think Dallin B rode this 10 times- No lie!

It has been so fun to have Dal and Po in town. I don't think they have missed out on one fun fall thing to do in Utah. One night this week we took all the kiddos over to Chuck-E-Cheese. They all had a blast and even enjoyed the cardboard tasting pizza! We are going to miss having these boys in town.

Nursery Phase 2

Here is what the room looks like today! We have gotten up all the carpet- and look at the beautiful floor we discovered! Luke has done all the finish work and he did such a good job. He is such a handy man. After how nice the new paint looks in the nursery we thought we could just paint the whole house- well that was before we started the 2 tone business. I think we will just stick with the wood paneling for now! As for the room Luke is doing the final touches today and then the new carpet goes in on Wed. The Crib and Dresser are in and ready to be picked up, I ordered the bedding this weekend. So this nursery is going to be done before we know it! I am getting to the point where I can barely sqeeze through the bed and the wall in our room which means that soon we will need to change sides of the bed. Next, I am starting to have a hard time breathing sometimes, and my belly is definitely a 6 month belly these days. Luke is just amazed at how big I am getting!!! Scary that I have 3 months to go- which means a lot of growing ahead! I love being able to feel the little guy move in my tummy- it is just a special thing that I am just going to enjoy while I can. Everyone asks me how I am feeling- I am feeling great and don't really have much to complain about. If the worst thing that happens to me is a bunch of zits on my face, back aches, and swelling I suppose there could be a lot of worse things!

Dal and Po come to visit

I was teaching Porter how to drive the Remote Control Truck. He just actually liked dragging it along much better!
These boys could play football all day long. I put out a feather bed and told them that was their football field. Well that may have been a bad idea because now that is the only place they want to play- so needless to say we sent it home to Nanny's house!
We made them pose in front of the Scarecrow. These boys could not be any cuter.
Dal and Dev were being so funny last night. They were just running around, screaming, and playing so cute. (Well most of the time!!!)

Dal and Po loved playing with our little farm at our house.
Porter was just loving all of the Pigs that were in the little farm set. He was cracking me up!
Dal's new Cheese face!
It is just so fun to have these boys in town. They are so fun and sweet! It makes me so excited to have a little guy. I will definitely be busy. Josh and Gaye have gone on vacation and so the boys were able to come and stay with Nanny. Cute little Po sometimes calls her Manny! It is hilarious. Porter thinks that everything is either BYU or Dodgers. I think he gets that from his parents.

Nursery Phase 1

This weekend has been crazy. It first started off with me getting sick at work (thank you very much) luckily it was 3:30 and almost time to go home anyways. I left and came home and went straight to bed. Once I woke up I just layed around and then decided that I was going to clean out this dresser that was in the room where we are going to put the nursery. Well needless to say one thing led to another and before I knew it, Saturday morning we were off to the DI and getting the room all ready for the baby. Luke and I got the tickets to the BYU game Saturday so we headed to that. I was so worried I was going to freeze but it wasn't that bad. It was so fun to be at the game but Luke costs too much. Here is a list of what we bought for him at the game: Footlong, ice cream, milk duds, 2 Cokes, Nachos. When we got home I decided to tape off the room and get it ready to paint. I got the walls primed and ready to go. I didn't make Luke help me do this because here in the near future he will be painting, doing the finish work, putting the crib together, etc! Needless to say this baby is going to have a nicer room than his mommy and daddy. Now I am just so excited to get everything put together and be all ready for our little guy!

CHICAGO~

Loving the Hershey Store- I didn't think it would be a good idea for a pregnant gal to be eating all this chocolate! But I did enjoy some nummy Hot Cocoa! The Hotel Lobby
The famous Sears Tower
Dinner at the Grand Lux Cafe before the show
The Cadillac Palace Theatre
The Show!
Although it was a quick trip it was fun to get away. While I was packing I realized that all of my shoes are too small! Pregnancy truly changes a lot about yourself! I luckily just had some tennis shoes that could do the trick. Chicago actually was pretty cold so luckily I had packed a few warm things. At the last minute Hailey decided to join in on the fun. We only had one bed in our room and it was a pretty small room so needless to say sleep wasn't on the agenda for me! We basically shopped and ate, shopped some more, and then ate some more! Can't complain about that. I realized that the best time to go on a shopping trip is not when you are pregnant- but it was fun to just find some things for the baby boy. I think I walked more than I have in a long time and I was soooo tired! As for Dirty Dancing- let's just say if you love the movie you will love the Broadway. It was fabulous. I sat by my mom the first half and I think I was driving her crazy because I kept quoting the lines right before they would say them- it was pretty funny. I think that this show has been my favorite movie for as long as I can remember, thus I kept getting the chills!!! Hailey got a seat right on the 2nd row and I think I gave her a good enough guilt trip of how this was my favorite show, and I did plan the trip, etc. Well it worked! I spent the second half of the show right on the front row.
