Cali Vacation

This past weekend I was able to go see my brother Josh and his little family in California. I must say that I love their two little boys a little too much. They were constantly wanted to shoot hoops, play tennis, play baseball, or just play. I could barely keep up! Saturday Grammy, Chelsi, Mom, and I were able to go to Wicked while Yosh and his family went to the Dodgers game. I must say that my dream came true. Wicked was seriously all I thought it would be and more. I absolutely loved it! Chelsi and I put on our own version of Wicked on the way there and the way home. We just belted out all of the songs and had a blast. We thought we sounded so bad but we brought my Grammy to tears because she thought that we sounded so beautiful. Thank goodness for Grammy's and Moms who are always the best fans! For some reason I didn't get any pics of my Mom or Grammy- Opps! We all had a blast. Thanks for a wonderful trip~

My Birthday

Cute Devree Precious TaycieFor my birthday this year I chose to go to The Cheesecake Factory with the Hansen side of the family. I ordered the White Chocolate Caramel Macademia Nut Cheesecake for dessert and it was absolutely divine. On my actual birthday Luke took me to Bajio and Hailey and the girlies and my mom came down. It was the best way to spend a birthday with my favorite gals in the world! Except for Chels and Gaye weren't there. My mom bought me this fabulous cupcake that we all enjoyed. Then the night of my birthday I spent at my 5 year class reunion. It really was so fun to see old friends and faces. I don't think that Luke enjoyed it one bit- so I think at the 10 year he will be getting left behind. But he was a good sport to come since it was my birthday. Can't you all remember the days when you couldn't sleep the night before your birthday? Well I have a little confession. I am 23 and I still can't! On the morning of my birthday I woke up to a text from my friend Melissa- she had the left the cutest gift on my porch and it just made my day. I received many phone calls and I just wanted to thank all those who made my day extra special!

This past weekend was my 23rd Birthday, Flag Day, Father's Day, and finally my 5 year class reunion. I have been a slacker on my blog I know- but I will post pictures soon of all those events. For the time being though I wanted to inform everyone that my dream of seeing Wicked is finally coming true. I am heading out to LA with my Mom & Grammy. We are going to visit Chelsi and Josh and his family. While we are there we are going to the Saturday matinee of WICKED! I have been practicing up on all my songs and I have even busted Luke singing Defying Gravity and For Good. I will for sure let you all know how it goes!

Chelsi's Graduation

Chels, Dev, & Mom
Chels, Austin, Alex @ Tepanyaki
Chels, Hailey, Dee, Dev, & Me
Chels and her friend Courtney
Me and Dev (She got a little bored!)

I seriously cannot believe that my little sis graduated last week! It freaks me right out. She graduated from Lone Peak High School. What is even weirder is that she is living in LA this summer being a "Super Nanny" and making bank and then she will come home and go to Utah State in the fall. I think it was a little weird for me because it is my 5 year class reunion next Saturday and it serioulsy feels like yesterday! I am so excited for Chels to get to this fun time in her life. She is an amazing gal and I swear she is just going to get swept off her feet and get hitched before we know it! Good Luck Chels- I love ya!
